NaanDanJain's TopDrip PC & PC AS
NaanDanJain's recently released product line—TopDrip—is a thin-medium walled dripline with integral pressure-compensating drippers. The wall thickness range is 13–25 mil (0.33–0.65 mm) and the available flow rates are 1.0 and 1.6 lph. The diameters offered are 16 & 22 mm, according to the standards in the thin-medium walled dripline market. The special PC AS model incorporates the advanced anti-siphon technology that prevents suction of sand into the drippers during drainage stages, and facilitates improved operation in sub-surface installations or in sandy soils.
TopDrip drippers have a multi-directional 3D water inlet that ensures a constant and efficient water supply to the dripper, with minimum risk of clogging. TopDrip drippers also incorporate the Cascade labyrinth with its strong self-cleaning turbulence. Pressure compensation is performed with an injected, high-quality silicone diaphragm and ranges from 0.4 to 2.5 bar.
Since TopDrip was introduced to the market at the beginning of 2010, it has been showing excellent results. These are evident in crops of sugarcane (SDI), asparagus, berries, corn and greenhouse crops. Many growers are using TopDrip 25 mil as their preference for multi-seasonal use in field crops. They therefore install and retrieve the dripline for every crop cycle. This provides an economical solution for growers who wish to use high-quality PC driplines, but to keep costs down.
In short, TopDrip has had an excellent first year and will continue to keep its face to the future, with new flow rates and features to come during 2011.
