The company recently inaugurated some of the world’s most advanced manufacturing lines in one of its sites in Almeria, Spain. Over the past few years, the company has invested over €5 million in the manufacturing site in Spain, which has become the NaanDanJain Group’s second largest manufacturing center in the world, as well as the most modern site. By reinforcing our subsidiary NaanDanJain Iberica in Spain, we intend to strengthen the commercial relationship with South American and North African countries. This subsidiary will also serve as a manufacturing center for all of Europe. A large sum was invested in extrusion lines in order to create drip-irrigation extensions with the world’s most advanced technologies. This investment is expected to produce sales of €23 million by 2016. The inauguration of the manufacturing line was attended by Israel's Ambassador to Spain, Mr. Rafael Shotz, together with the company’s CEO, Mr. Avner Hermoni, and CEO of the subsidiary in Spain, Mr. Carlos Lavilla. NaanDanJain Iberica’s sales turnover in 2010 reached some €10 million, showing a growth of some 15%, compared to 2009. The Spanish subsidiary holds a sales share of some 15% of the irrigation market in the Iberian Peninsula. Over the past six years, the company has increased its sales turnover by some 80% and is expecting to make €12 million in sales in 2011.
