Coconut bedding
Coco peat (coir, coir fiber pith) is a very user-friendly substrate. It has been introduced with great success worldwide as a substitute for soil.
Coco peat is composed of shredded parts of coconut husk, and does not contain any soilborne diseases.
Coco peat comes in compressed blocks and different sized growing bags.
The main advantages are controlling and management of growth and saving costs.

Ground cover
Raffia sheeting serves as ground cover.
The raffia is a woven polypropylene cloth with combined colors: outer color is white (85%) and the inside color is black (85%). The cloth is strong, flexible and it blocks light transmission.
The white side is used uppermost in order to reflect back the sun’s rays onto the plant foliage and thereby improve its growth. The black side is used as groundcover to help prevent the growth of weeds in the paths.
It is used for the growth of plants in a soilless medium and other applications, where there is a need for porous cloth which blocks out light.

Trellising system
The trellising system is based on the principle of dividing the weight of the crops over the entire growing area, by means of circumventing columns, 4mm transverse cables to support the columns and an additional system of cables to support the transverse cables from the trusses.
Metal wires are intertwined throughout this entire system, along the length of the gable, and the plants are tied to them. Support accessories and plant fasteners are usually attached to the wires, including plastic or metal hangers, with plastic wires connected to the growing plants by rings.
Rollerhooks:
Suitable for 3-4 growing seasons, Rollerhooks are simple to operate and time-saving. The hook clamps onto a wire and offers a quick trigger to lengthen the supporting line as the plants grows. After years you can keep using it by simply replacing the 36 meter- long line spool.

Drip irrigation systems in soilless substrate
Design of the irrigation system is based on two main parameters:
- Maximum water requirements of the crops
- Continuous water supply for flushing the processed coconut bedding.
Estimated maximum water requirement of vegetable cultivation is 5-6 mm/day (50-60 m³/ha/day).
According to accumulated experience in the use of coconut bedding, an additional 60-70% of water volume is required to achieve efficient flushing of the bedding. Therefore, total water consumption will be up to 10 mm/day (100 m³/ha/day).
Greenhouse irrigation is operated by electric/hydraulic valves, controlled by a computerized remote control system.
The irrigation system functions together with the fertilization system. Soluble fertilizers are injected into the irrigation water.

Over head irrigation

Green Mist
The double purpose emitter for misting and irrigation over propagation benches:

A drainage system is installed along all the cultivation beds.
The system allows runoff of excess irrigation and flushing water. PVC collection pipes deliver the water from each greenhouse through central drainpipes towards a central underground collection tank.
A submerged pump delivers the water, through an automatic filter, into a bigger tank which collects all the drainage water.
The volume of this tank is calculated according the total daily volume of the drained water. Water is pumped from this container to the main stored water tank through a granular filtration system and a chlorination device. The volume of the main container is calculated to store the amount of water required for daily irrigation (on the most critical day). The main water supply (such as well, canal, river) is also be connected to this tank.
The main irrigation pump collects the water from the main tank and pumps it towards the fertigation
controller and the irrigation system, with the discharge and pressure required by the systems.
The entire process of filling the water tanks, including chlorination, is automated.

Fertigation systems
Venturi table set for soilless substrate
The modular fertigation system for greenhouses is based on direct and accurate injection of nutrients into the irrigation water pipe by a set of four fertilizer injectors. An advanced computerized controller controls EC and pH levels and irrigation cycles
The system includes four fertilizer tanks (1,000 liters each) and a 1,000-liter fertilizer dissolver tank.
Time / dose base fertigation
The system includes one fertilizer tank for simple and accurate fertigation.
Filtering and water pumps
Sand, multi media, net, springs and auto filtration batteries are available with any water discharge and any type of filtering and pressure.
